Welcome to Fellain, a registered trademark of HD Experts B.V. We stand for timeless design, traditional craftsmanship, and careful service. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these general terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your purchase.

1. General

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements between the consumer and Fellain, a brand of HD Experts B.V.
1.2 Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by Fellain.
1.3 Fellain reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. For ongoing agreements, the version valid at the time of purchase applies.

3. Product information & craftsmanship

3.1 All product images and descriptions on the website are carefully compiled. Minor deviations in color or appearance from the delivered product are possible and do not constitute a reason for a complaint or return.
3.2 Our leather products are made from high-quality leather and with an eye for traditional detail. Natural differences in color, texture, grain, or patina are characteristic of genuine leather and make each product unique. These properties are inherent to the material and do not constitute a defect.
3.3 For products made from other materials, the material and product specifications as stated on the respective product page apply.
3.4 Fellain reserves the right to change the product range, materials used, and specifications without prior notice. For ongoing orders, the specifications as stated at the time of purchase apply.

4. Personalization

4.1 Personalization is possible for certain products.
4.2 Personalized products are manufactured exclusively for the customer and are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
4.3 The customer is responsible for correctly providing personalization data.
4.4 Fellain reserves the right to refuse requests that are technically unfeasible or do not align with the brand character.

5. Prices and payment

5.1 All prices are in euros, including VAT.
5.2 Shipping costs are clearly stated at checkout.
5.3 Orders will only be processed after successful payment through the offered payment methods.

6. Shipping and delivery

6.1 Shipping takes place from the Netherlands.
6.2 Shipping costs:
 - Netherlands: €6.95 | Free for orders from €75
 - Belgium: €12.95
6.3 Express delivery within 1–2 business days (NL & BE).
6.4 Track & trace is provided with every shipment.
6.5 Deliveries take place from Monday to Saturday.
6.6 Changes are only possible as long as the order has not yet been shipped.

7. Returns & right of withdrawal

7.1 The customer has the right to return the order within 14 calendar days after receipt.
7.2 Return costs are at the customer's expense.
7.3 As an exception, Fellain will reimburse return costs if the shipment is presented to the carrier within 3 days of receipt. This reimbursement will take place afterward upon receipt and inspection of the return shipment.
7.4 Personalized products are excluded from return.
7.5 Products must be returned in original condition: unused, undamaged, and complete with original packaging, labels, and accessories.
7.6 If the returned item shows signs of use, is incomplete, is damaged, or loss/theft occurred during the return shipment, Fellain reserves the right to deduct the diminished value from the amount to be refunded.
7.7 Incomplete or damaged return shipments may be refused or only partially reimbursed.
7.8 If an item was provided free of charge as part of a campaign with an order, and the customer returns (part of) the order so that the campaign conditions are no longer met, the campaign item must also be returned. If the campaign item is not returned, its regular sales value will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
7.9 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer can use the model withdrawal form, available via our Return Portal. The use of this form is not mandatory; the customer can also make the withdrawal known in another unambiguous way.

8. Warranty – Leather products

8.1 Fellain guarantees that every product upon delivery complies with the agreement, the reasonable expectations of the consumer, and the specifications as stated on the product page.
8.2 Defects that become apparent within 12 months after delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless Fellain can prove otherwise.
8.3 Even after this 12-month period, the consumer can invoke non-conformity, provided that he or she demonstrates that the defect already existed at the time of delivery. The expected lifespan of the product and the nature of the defect will be taken into account.
8.4 Conformity includes, but is not limited to, defective closures, zippers or hardware, loose seams, and construction defects under normal use.
8.5 Not considered defects are: normal wear and tear, patina formation, minor scratches, change in shape due to use, or damage caused by improper use, overloading, moisture, sunlight, chemicals, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
8.6 In the event of a valid claim, Fellain will — at its discretion and in consultation with the customer — repair, replace the product, or offer a suitable price reduction or dissolution.
8.7 Warranty claims can be submitted via support@fellain.com, accompanied by photos and a description of the defect.

9. Maintenance

9.1 Leather items must not be washed or submerged.
9.2 Clean only with a slightly damp cloth, and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
9.3 Do not use cleaning agents, sprays, oils, or chemicals.
9.4 Store products in a dry environment, protected from direct sunlight. Preferably use the included dust bag.

10. Liability

10.1 Fellain is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss resulting from the use of the products.
10.2 We are also not liable for damage caused by improper use, incorrect maintenance, delays in delivery, loss, theft, or damage during transport.
10.3 In any case, Fellain's liability is limited to the purchase amount of the relevant item.

11. Privacy

11.1 Fellain processes personal data only for order processing, customer service, and marketing purposes (if consent has been given).
11.2 Personal data will not be provided to third parties, unless legally obliged.

12. Applicable law and disputes

12.1 These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
12.2 Any disputes will initially be handled in consultation. If this does not lead to a solution, the dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
12.3 If one of the provisions in these terms and conditions is declared invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
